Blue fescue is one of the most used ornamental grasses today. It is a low growing clump grass with a blue color. It is evergreen, and grows to a height of about 6 inches. Great as a border or front accent plant. Easy to grow, few if any pests. Flowers in early summer with tufts of white, but flowers are not the main show.

Great contrast plant to use with golden leaved or bright green leaved varieties.
