Catmint is another herb that is a great ornamental addition to any garden. Blue blooms cover the plant through summer. Height ranges from 12 to 36 inches, and as wide. Foliage is a pretty gray green, and is drought resistant. Loves the heat. Attractive to bees and butterflies.

Not the same plant as catnip. It is a member of the mint family, but not invasive. Cut back after blooming to encourage rebloom.

Favorite varieties incluse "Walker's Low" and "Six Hills Giant".
