Black eyed susan is a very familiar old fashioned plant to most of us, and also well known as a wildflower.

Daisy like flowers with center cones, in orange, yellows and reds. Foliage is covered with fuzz, which makes them quite drought resistant. Grow to 36 inches, and to 18 inches wide. Self seeds easily. An easy and tough plant, loves the sun and an indispensible cottage garden plant.
