Wormwood
Latin name: Artemisia
Sun or Shade: Sun.
Drought Resistant? Yes.
Perennial? Yes.
Artemisia are mostly grown for their foliage, not their flowers. Foliage is gray to gray green and can vary from lacy to coarse. There are edging varieties and large varieties up to 4 feet. They are ideal to tone down bright or contrating colors, and look spectacular in a pink and blue garden. They add wonderful texture, are drought resistant and have few if any pests or diseases.
