Hi I’m Remi, lovely to meet you!

Here’s a bit about myself and what you’ll find here at The Garden Glove.

About Me…

I love finding beautiful and practical diy projects and gardening ideas and love sharing them with YOU even more! This is where you’ll find garden related projects I’m loving or have completed myself.

I got into gardening because I LOVE food. After college, I worked for a produce importer/distributor and fell in love with the process of growing good food and getting it to people’s plates. Whether on a small apartment balcony or just in a little window sill, I’ve always had some sort of food growing where I can access it for fresh meals. It wasn’t until 2020 that I dove into the world of raised bed gardening, landscaping and cut flowers because, like many of you, it’s what I turned to while stuck at home! Now I love the process of garden design and find new and different plants to grow.

There’s something therapeutic about gardening- maybe it’s just the time spent outside, the beauty of the end product, or honestly maybe it’s just good to do some physical work after sitting at a desk all day. And man, there is nothing more satisfying than finishing a good diy project. My goal here is to give you all the inspiration to find your next project to create the garden of your dreams.

And a bit about The Garden Glove:

The Garden Glove was originally owned and run by Steve and Kathy Bates, and you’ll still find lots of Kathy’s post here on the blog. Don’t worry, they’re not going anywhere! The Garden Glove has shared the best of gardening diy projects for a long time now (like early 2000’s long!). These projects have included anything from advice on how to grow beautiful plants to how-to instructions to build outdoor structures like patio covers, treehouses, and raised-bed gardens.
